I thought it might be interesting to have a poll of which type of photography most interests you? Let me know if I missed any categories.

I think you should separate portrait/wedding/fashion - vastly different imo

I think only admins should be able to create polls. And even then, they should do so only after screening the text of the poll through a grammar and spelling checker.

This is actually quite interesting. When I googled the photography types most sites lumped People/Portraits/Weddngs/Fashion into one broad category - People Photography. It works for me because I like any pictures of people but I can see how this wouldn't fit for other people.

So if YOU were going to create a poll like this what categories would you define?

It's a bit of a broad grouping then, because you could also include street photography, candid shooting, etc. in amongst all of that too. Candid and portrait photography are the antithesis of each other.

Abstract/Experimental/Painting with light

Having done photography for several decades I've done most of the above and it bores me now...that's why I prefer doing something that's different and creative.
