TPMG still with 1&1 :)

BTW, whoever that signed up with 1&1 and used TPMG as the referral a few months ago, thank you. We get $$$ for referrals so this covers the fees from 1&1 for three months and a bit.

I'm with netfirms.ca and so far I haven't had any issues in the full year I've been with them.

I've used Dreamhost for the last 6 years and I've never had any problems with them. After the initial fees, it's only $9 a month. :)

I second myhosting.com - located at the base of Bay/Yonge and offering both Linux / Windows options - I've been hosting with them since.. umm... a long time ago now.. must be over 6 years or more.

I have my own server co-located to run my sites (work perk) but I know many people (uber-geeks) who use and love 1and1.com.

Add another for 1and1. I have a dedicated server with them. Biggest issue I have with them is they transferred 1st level tech support off shore. With a dedicated server the first level can not help with anything and you end up wasting 2-3 hours till you finally get the server support group in USA .

Looking at trasnfering our stuff to ultrahosting.com
They have a data center in Toronto and support is all local as well.

Another vote for 1and1. I've used them for years, originally with a pro package and now with just the personal, and never a problem. Customer Service is very responsive too.

i haven't had any issues with godaddy plus their customer service is reliable and fast.

I've dealt with hostmonster.com. Their shared hosting for one year is USD$6.95/month, which is still under CAD$10. If you pay two or more years at once, then you'll save another $1/month.

Had couple of problems with the server but both were resolved smoothly and quickly.
