Print Ad Concept 1
This advertisement is an aid for the TTC to promote its streetcar services. It highlights the advantages of taking the streetcars versus driving. It targets a young audience. The copy emphasizes the advantages of streetcars (comfort, performance (late night services), timeliness, consistency, convenience, flexibility, eco friendly, global warming, traffic, etc).

Print Ad Concept 2
This advertisement is for a retail shoe outlet looking for a funky, young and very colourful ad promoting a new product line of shoes for their fall campaign. The ad would be used in bus stop ads, publications, billboards and Point of purchase displays. It targets a young audience

Criteria:
a)Concept Execution: Rate on the success of visualizing the concept (i.e how close the images come to conveying the message according to the above specs). rate the attention to details

How does the ad slogans make you feel?

b)Creativity/Originality: This is very important, what does the combination of images and slogans used have to make the ad stand out from all the other boring/bland ads out there? do you find it appealing and eye-grabbing (for the target audience)?

(some of the ads have used some neat visual tricks that might not come to mind at first sight, pay attention to details).

c)Technical execution: From a photographic perspective how does the overall image quality fare? composition, angles, framing, colors, tones, lighting quality, clarity, etc.

This is awesome, I hope you guys hold the next round during a day which I can join as well.

This really was a great even Andy. I love how you created a challenge out of photography with a direction, I enjoy this route a lot more personally and look forward to the next challenge(s).

I enjoyed this challenge too. I think though that perhaps next time it would be interesting to give all the groups the SAME challenge and see what people come up with and how different the ideas are with the same concept challenge.

In any case, keep 'em coming, Andy!
