So I'm selling my first print (not bad for opening and repeatedly stating that photography is a hobby that is supposed to cost one money - the definition of a hobby).

Anyway, the print is already framed from a hanging, I'm thinking of just sticking some sort of label on the back of the photo to include byline info etc. Can anyone advise on what and where I should include?

Thanks.

It's about time:)

I suggest just: title, media type = (camera type only if relevant and print type), location (if relevant), edition 1 of #, artist name, and contact information.

NICE! Congrats!

I'm sorry for jumping in but just curious, do you print your own prints or have some place do that for you? Just wondering if you're not printing anything too large, would it be more better cost wise to print your own in the long run.

Unless you are selling to a photographer, all the extra info is not needed.
I sell a few prints every year and I put a signature at the back(people ask me anyways)
Other than that, I wouldn't put any other info. Maybe the year of creation though.

Personally, I sell all of my prints in new frames - not my exhibition frames, so they are sealed with my contact info on the back. I also provide the buying with a certificate for the print. that's just my process.

congrats again Chris...
