To put it in a non scientific way, point your camera up on Sunday. Toronto view time starts as 8:19 pm and would last till 8:40 pm. In North America, the eclipse will occur late in the day, so it’s important to observe from a site with a good western horizon.

Just up or do I have to point it at the sun too? So complicated!

You can point it at the sun too, as long as you don't touch any of the buttons. :)

I'll be on Georgian Bay Islands National Park this weekend so I hope to try it out. Thanks for the info.

If you don't have a solar filter, a welding mask lens can do the job. A #14 lens is recommended. Home depot has #10 lenses for about $8.00

Unfortunately it does not look like we'll be able to see a whole lot from this part of the world. Still, it might make for an interesting sunset with the bottom right edge of the sun covered.

It was well before sunset we did not even notice anything at all, no difference in the light at all. It was still very sunny at that time, no clouds or anything. Didn't even try as we didn't have the proper protection for our selves or the cameras. We were camping on Beausoleil Island at Cedar Spring Camp Ground at Georgian Bay Islands Provincial Park. It was a fun time.
