What: Casa Loma
When: Sunday January 22nd 2012
Time: 12:15pm - meet at the front door

Following the morning shoot at Spadina House, we will be meeting at Casa Loma for some afternoon shooting. The first order of business will be most likely for us to meet and then have some lunch downstairs in the restaurant area, as some of us will have been shooting for the past couple of hours. Then we will explore the hallways and tunnels of the Casa Loma property. Bring your tripods! We should be just fine to shoot with them. I will be sending them a message to double check that - and will post the result of that communication.

please see this note from the castle on our visit for January 22nd:

"******* As I am sure you already know, once you group has paid admission to come in, please note that it is important to respect all roped-off areas, no models or elaborate set-ups and please don't impede the regular tourist traffic. You can use your tripods, but please note reflectors are not allowed. (And of course, as you know, photography for commercial and professional purposes is not allowed)."

Thank you. And as far as January 22nd is concerned, there are no events at the castle, so we are good.

Are people interested in taking advantage of a group rate? If so --- then here is the deal.... It will be $14.00 per person (this includes tax). This is to be paid to me at the door before we enter 'as a group'. I need a minimum of 10 people in order to get a group rate. The reason why I need to collect your money is because Casa Loma does not accept a group rate unless there is a single person paying for the group.

The advantage of us paying as a group is $6.55 savings over the normal admission. The group rate over-rides use of coupons, so this is the best deal we can get.

PLEASE BRING $14.00 CASH ONLY FOR GROUP RATE ADMISSION

If we do not have 10 or more people for the group rate, then you will have to pay the full admission minus any coupons you might have.

Thanks guys for ringing in. Just to make it very clear - people should not proceed inside Casa Loma before the meeting time outside. If we are all to participate in the group rate - I need to collect the money outside, and then proceed inside and pay them as a group leader. That is the ONLY way this will work.
