With the holiday I was not able to check TPMG as often as I would like. I can make it and I have moved my registration up.

I was wondering what time do you guys wana meet up on Saturday ? if anyone wants to come earlier to do some day shoot that's fine with me too .. just pm me if you need my phone number . we can shoot by the music garden the lake or anywhere around .

I am not setting a fixed time to meet because it depends on what light you want to catch . I'm ok with anything

I'm good with meeting earlier as well. wouldn't mind doing some shooting during the day. Just give me a time and I'll drive down. How about meeting up at 2pm? will that give enough time to shoot around the area before heading up to the terrace?

FYI: Home game for Leafs at ACC starting at 7pm. Parking is hard to find or $$$$$.

Well it depends , i said 4 so it gives everyone time to get here n set up before the sunset colors start showing . 2 hours to shoot the area should work too i think . depends on what you want to shoot ( The sunrise can get really beautiful in this area too )

Simon - Thats not what I wanted to hear!! well getting parking at like 2pm shouldn't be a problem - hopefully won't be too much - I'm just feeling under the weather (again) so would prefer the comfort of my own car instead of the subway (especially with all my gear to carry around).

Sapna - as far as what to shoot - i'm completely open to anything - you know that area the best - so I will follow your lead - just tell me when and where.

Just found out the underground garage at University & Front charge only $7 on a 12 hrs parking on wkn. This is

Uh...this might be a good 20-30 minute walk, and with camera gear & tripod. Front & University is a bit of a hike to 410 Queens Quay W. Its ok if you're not in a big hurry. Theres probably closer better parking .

I just found a lot on the south side of Queens Quay W, just a few blocks west of 410 QQ W. (Google map) And the sign in the picture says $7 flat rate. Don't know if pic was taken on a week day or what, but flat rates are most recurrent on weekends or evenings & this was definitely day time...so likely all the time. You can see the Canada Malting silos just off shore a bit.

I should be able to meet at 2:00. If I am late, I will call.

I think I might get there sometime between 2 & 4 pm. If you are out shooting, maybe we can contact u by cellphone ? Otherwise, I can see us in a lobby with no info as to who you are or how to reach you, even at 4 pm. So, can we get your cell #, buzzer codes etc.

I can make it for 4:00. It looks like the sun set tonight was at around 4:50 so that should be good timing.

I may be taking some long exposures along the gardiner just west of you guys. I'll try my best to ruin your shots with my flashlight if you guys are facing west.

This would be great of you Sapna - but here's an idea: Could you wait another week? I was really hoping for some snow on the ground for the twilight/night shots. Don't you think that would look a lot more interesting than the brown stuff we have now?

I thought about it although looking at the weather it feels like snow is not coming anytime soon But here's what we can do i can set it up for next week for those who want to come and i can set up another one when there's snow ??? I don't mind either way . All those on the waiting list could you please let me know what you prefer please ? Even if you want to come without an official event set up that's fine with me too just let me know a day before so i can get my hair done lol lol

We will also have high powered rifles with scopes attached to our tripods.

I would like to come, but I'd also like to wait for better weather. Brown earth with solid clouds would make me want to bail. Some white stuff and clearer skies and I'm in.
I don't care how cold it gets (within reason).
And about the hair - we're all wearing hats anyway, right?
