What: Yonge/Bloor Streetshooting
When: Sat. Nov 26, 2011
Time: 7PM
Where: Northeast corner of Yonge and Bloor (by the RBC staircase)
Bring: Anything you want. It'll be a photowalk so tripods might not be as ideal.

Every last Saturday of the month, I'll be organizing a photowalk at 7pm. Let's see how long I can keep this up... haha. And I apologize for the late times for these shoots. I work 7 days a week... Trying to get my street photography going again.

So, does this mean the next one will be New Year's Eve??

I'll likely make some of these, but not all. I don't know yet about Nov. 26.[/u]

The next one won't be New Years Eve. I'll reschedule it to another day for sure. But I plan on continuing these shoots for next year.

Got a couple of rolls of delta 3200 to shoot so yah maybe.

I work until 3PM on Saturdays so I am 80% sure for now! Thanks in advance for the opportunity! Hope it will be a warm day with some light snowflakes

I think you should come out for the trail end of the Foodie Event and then we can all go for a walk to burn off the Calories!

It's been changed to Yonge and Bloor. Might be a few minutes late since I have to subway from Dundas.

My ISO upper limit is 1600. There should be enough street light for hand held, shouldn't there ?

I'm definitely up for some street shooting depending on when the foodie event ends.

Sorry for another immediate post but I was wondering if anyone will be using a flash?

I want to try the Bruce Gilden in-your-face style at night in the streets of Toronto (with a digicam)

If not, I will bring my very discrete and quiet film camera and some film.

lol I don't think I have the balls to pop a flash in front of a stranger, although you do get the best facial expressions =)

If I were walking down the street, minding my own business, and someone popped a flash in my face, I'd consider it a type of assault & might just pop them one in the face...and I don't mean flash. Just sayin'.

I won't just pop anyone. I will target the gangstaz, bikers and cool looking types. The "characters" as Mr. Gilden likes to call them ... LOL

The foodie event is scheduled until 5:30pm now, so it is highly unlikely that we will be late for the 7pm rendezvous at Yonge/Bloor.

There is now a possibility I may be working tomorrow. We haven't had confirmation yet, or the hours, but I doubt it would be an evening shift. I will post and remove myself if I am working in the evening.
