If I set it back now, I'll just have to set it forward next year. That's twice the work!

Exactly. The problem will fix itself in six months! Lol

For real? I am doing the same thing! My clock has been out of battery for about 1 month now...

A little observance on the DST thing:

Because I like to geotag using an external Sony GPS-CS1, I'm very nitpicky about having an accurate clock on my images to minimize the amount I need to fix clock skew in my post processing workflow.

My computer automatically does the internet time check thing. Give or take the half second of error, of course.

Anyway, upon resetting my camera clocks tonight, I noticed my in-camera clocks were approximately 4 minutes fast. For approximately 6 months since last set that's not bad, but not great either.

YMMV.

I was out shooting today, but couldn't find the clock setting on my speedgraphic.

Actually, it's EST, DST is summer time.

Regarding daylight saving time, the natives say that only a white man would think you can get a longer blanket by cutting an inch off the top and sewing it on the bottom.

And did you know it was a Canadian who invented standard time?
