Details:

What: Fashion Model Works
When: Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011
Time: 6:15PM
Where: 110 Charles St. East, 3rd floor
Bring: Camera, lights, stands, anything you want to play with
Cost: $50/pp and we'll order pizza when we start

So we're going to squeeze one in for September. It will be 2 models, MUA and we'll go fashion this time :)

Come with ideas and concepts, and we'll make some cool things happen!

Apologizes to everyone that I couldn't do it in time for the last week of sept. But I'll do another in October (themed shoot) to make up for it :P

Luckily the night before I leave!
I guess I better get my things together before this night of modelling.

I might need to be made exempt from the 2 week deadline for submitting edits though if possible. :D

Room is booked and models are ready to go. I've got 2 confirmed and a returned guest model :) she'll be a surprise.

Here are the 2 models:

As another detail, we're going to be working with a fashion designer in school at ryerson and the models will be modeling her pieces. This way u'll hopefully get a full experience of working with a client.
Thursday is going to be fun :)

J, thanks for the event. It was the most fun I've had with my camera. I learned a great number of things last night. Hope to have another one again in the future. :D

I'll post some after I do some work on them tonight/tomorrow. :P I'm still trying to figure out what kind of post-processing is required for this type of work. I am in unfamiliar territory.

Nice!! I wish our group had the chance to work on the black backdrop. We had to work with very tight spacing.

I agree, the white back drop was extremely hard to frame a shot in I found.

I got one or two framed on the white!

Did you use a telephoto to compress the background? This often helps in tight situations.

Well then you need to go and buy the Canon 70-200 F4 non IS - personally I think it's a no-brainer at current prices.
