Details:

What: Nikon Social
When: Mon. February 7th 2011
Time: 7PM
Where: The Golden Griddle @ Church Street & Carleton in downtown Toronto right across from Maple Leaf Gardens.
Bring: Bring your questions and Nikon gear to show off/share with others.

The last Nikon social was quite a while ago! So I decided to hold the meetup in the very first location where we held a Nikon Social -- at the Golden Griddle downtown. I haven't been to the griddle for quite sometime, so I had a strange desire for the griddle, and thought, hey why not.

Bring along your gear to show off, and/or have questions about. I have some new toys to show as well... Doesn't matter whether you're digital or film, as long as its Nikon.

I'm debating on whether to buy a 70-300 VR lens, so if anyone has one that they wouldn't mind letting me look at, would be appreciated. Beats going to Henry's :)

cya monday.

Yes I am, just waiting for a cheque to clear my account. The lens is already in and waiting for me.

Hey All,

looks like we have a nice intimate group for tonight - that'll work nicely. I brought some of my vintage Nikon gear with me for tonight. See you all then!

I was really hoping to show, but after a busy weekend I have too much to do at home.

Will have to check out all the cool toys next time.

Thanks David for organizing! A Nikon history lesson with a side of pancakes. What more could we ask for? (I know...HDR LESSONS!)

Thank you David for organizing. These socials are getting expensive. Now back to working on the justification for the new lens for submission to minster of finance (the one at home).
