As some of you know, I've been trying to negotiate a TPMG group discount for the f-stop line of camera backpacks and camera bags.

Fortunately for us, the head designer of the f-stop bags is originally from Toronto and plans to be in Toronto for the holidays. We are trying to organize a get together so that you attendees can check out the bags in person and I've been told that attendees may be offered a discount.

If there is sufficient interest, I'll try to make it happen.

Holidays have gotten in the way of organizing this for the 30th. Stay tuned for an update on Thursday (at the earliest). I'll be out of town until then.

Looking forward to getting an update on if this is going to happen. Kinda glad it fell through for the 30th as I couldn't make it. Been reading up a lot about the bags and the only thing holding me back right now is the fact that I physically can't see how much space I would have left in the bag with my gear in it.

If the meetup doesn't work with the f-stop guys I'd love to take a look at your Loka with the S-ICU because that's exactly the setup I'm looking to buy in the next month or so. Hopefully it'll work out with the f-stop guys and we may be able to swing a group buy discount but if not, seeing your gear will definitely make me less nervous of buying it straight off the website rather than in-store.

Okay - I've been in touch with F-stop and they're interested in doing an event. However, we'll need to generate more than 11 people to attend in order to get a group discount and to get some demo packs for everyone to check out.

I'll post a new feeler thread so please sign up there.

I'm hoping for a late February event date. Probably a weekday evening or weekend.
