Just browsing ebay and saw this spectacular piece of engineering. I was pretty excited about my 50mm f1.4 and thought that the canon 200mm f2.0 was a lot of glass that I'd one day like to own, but that doesn't compare at all to this Zoomar-Muenchen 180mm f1.3 !!

I wonder how photos turn out with that lens. Hope there's lens hood for all that flare.

Paul,

At 15Lbs, it is up there in weight with your 500 F4 IS. The 200 F2 is one of my bucket list lenses - I shot with a Nikon D3/200 F2 combo and all I can say is *wow*. I have heard amazing things about our Canon 200/2 as well.

180/1.3 - crazy!!!

I wonder if anyone has ever achieved focus on a moving target with that lens? Not my first choice for sports photography LOL.

I saw this the other day on some other site. That thing is crazy, i mean who knows if its sharp or not but thats not really the point.
