Has anyone taken any photography courses at Lens Factory in Toronto?

The reason why I am asking is I noticed they are the featured "deal of the day" on dealfind dot com slash toronto

Thank you for the feedback.

i dont know, but the photo of the girl holding the camera while she has her head at a 70 degree angle seems odd for a course teaching photography rules, LOL

but $50 is pretty cheap for a class. Most of these things around town are well above that, hence the special, i guess.

Care to elaborate why not? I was looking into these courses myself but if I should steer clear then it'd be nice to know.

Sorry, I'd rather not elaborate here. Thanks.

I've taken one, intermedia to advance.
tbh the level of the class depends on the rest of the classmates skills. Course topics are "what would you like to learn?" style

As well, most of the photography topics are general photography, not specifically to a certain type. More leaning towards the artistic photography styles.

If you end up with classmates who ask questions about very general lightroom question or basic photoshop questions, you may find yourself being bored in class. However, If thats what you want to learn, then maybe it is good for you.

My class had a lot of people interested in simple photo editing techniques. Where I was looking more for hands procress of a good photographer, when where and how to take them etc... what goes thru their minds?

So it really depends on your classmates i think.
