What trail have you guys on in the past where it leads you to that overhead type view? I've seen photos from TPMG for the last 2 years, and they always look good :)

The trails that we did in the past that had nice lookouts from up high:

Centennial Ridge (one of the longest trails if not the longest, can get to the lookout point faster if you do the trail in reverse then back to the start if you want to minimize on the hiking though be prepared for the elevation change).

Booth's Rock

Another good spot to drop by if time permits in the morning is Ragged Falls, just before the west entrance.

I just returned from a weekend trip to Algonquin. We camped at the Rock lake campground and the colors were phenominal. The weather did not help much as it was constantly cloudy/rain/overcast throughout the weekend. Still there was plenty a scenery to shoot.

We went up on the Booth Rock's trail which is 5.1KM loop. Once you reach the lookout point, the views are absolutely fantastic.

The drive up the HWY 60 corridor also offers an amazing opportunity for capturing the blooming fall colours.

In case anyone is going to do the trails in Haliburton Forest Wildlife reserve --- the lookout and outlook trails are going to be stunning in the next week.
