Just like the title suggests, Ive been shooting kodak Ektar alot lately in both 35mm and medium format. Really like the results and I would like to try shooting it @ 200 or even 400.

Im curious if anyone here has tried push processing it before and their results?

I've pulled it with success but never pushed. I'd suggest trying 400VC or try shooting a contrasty/punchy slide film like Provia 400X which is very pushable.

Best to try Toronto image works doesn't charge for pushing c41. Someone on Flickr did an exposure test you might find interesting.

Thanks for the replies. No need to use TIW as I do my own C41 @ home in a jobo. I ve shot 400vc but I find it doesn't have the pop I get with ektar, especially in medium format. And slide film is out of the question unfortunately, I'm shooting on meterless vintage cameras and don't trust my iPhone light meter app to expose picky slide film properly.

I guess I'll give it a shot and see what happens, just hate to waste a precious roll of Ektar.

so for ektar aiming for over is better than under, you don't seem to get that weird cast and don't seem to lose too much to highlights
