Details:

What: Farmers Market @ the Brickworks
When: August 14 (Sat 9AM)

Where: Castle Frank Subway Station

From the Castle Frank Subway Station we will walk through Rosedale and then take the nature trial to the Brickworks.

For those of you that are hungry there are plenty of interesting snacks available at the farmer's market.

Afterwards depending on our energy level we can either walk up to the Danforth via Pottery Rd. and the mill or take the free shuttle bus. Where in true old fashion TPMG style we can eat lunch at one of the Danforth Pubs or Greek Restaurants.

I'm afraid I can't fill Mike's request for a google map as google doesn't mark the trials:

Directions

* From Castle Frank Subway Station, follow Castle Frank Road north, past Hawthorne Gardens.

* Head west on Elm Avenue to South Drive. Head north, past the entrance to Cragleigh gardens. The entrance to the Milkman

http://ebw.evergreen.ca/visit/bus/

The free shuttle bus goes from just north of Broadview subway station. Which is one station east of Castle Frank.

The shuttle bus goes back to broadview too!

as per requested.. the turtle:
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/calyxx/4892455123/" title="TURTLE! by stephanie KW ho, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4082/4892455123_4596cab05c.jpg" width="500" height="180" alt="TURTLE!"></a>

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/calyxx/4892464843/" title="HDR brickworks by stephanie KW ho, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4096/4892464843_a365eb517b.jpg" width="362" height="500" alt="HDR brickworks"></a>

"slightly seedy"... therefore gets a kind of seedy look to it.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/calyxx/4892461889/" title="slightly seedy by stephanie KW ho, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4137/4892461889_a3c6f26024.jpg" width="500" height="276" alt="slightly seedy"></a>

this sign... clearly needs to be rethought. waterproof markers would be ideal:
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/calyxx/4893058574/" title="waterproof? by stephanie KW ho, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4096/4893058574_ba9faef494.jpg" width="500" height="315" alt="waterproof?"></a>

and we went to the brickworks... so that clearly means at least one shot of bricks:
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/calyxx/4893053588/" title="brickworks = bricks by stephanie KW ho, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4141/4893053588_c34b4a0a52.jpg" width="326" height="500" alt="brickworks = bricks"></a>

more photos have landed in the themes section. didn't want to flood with repeated images.
