If my father-in-law didn't have a gun I wouldn't even BE married.

LOL, there's a big difference between a shotgun wedding and getting shot at a wedding. :P

Who wants to pose with guns at their wedding? A wedding should be the last place for a gun! Shoot the photographer just for suggesting it!

Wow, that sucks. The only kind of shooting I intend to do at my upcoming wedding shoot is with a camera.

I actually just came back from my first time ever handling firearms last night.

One of the big big big things that was stressed multiple times is "only point a gun at something you're willing to destroy"

That's very unfortunate.

Yes! In all of the training sessions that I have had with firearms - It was always stressed to us to never point a gun at something you don't want to shoot - including yourself, or anyone else. And they also told us that small furry animals were not targets on the range... :)
