Apparently the Sanyo Eneloops are on sale at half of the MRSP, about $10USD for a pack of four at Thomas Distributing. Sale ends at July 31. This is probably as cheap as Eneloops can get.

http://www.thomasdistributing.com/shop/ ... it8gi3gna7

Just wondering if anybody's interested (shipping/handling cost will be split, which is neglegible if I can get enough). I'm going to place an order on July 30th, drop me an email/PM if you like.

PS: I have a budget of about $300 on my credit card. First come first serve, I guess. :)

Edit: Tossing some numbers around. Regular discharge batteries are about $20 for a pack of four, and about $27? for LSD. Shipping for 10 packs is about $20, 30 packs for $30. Of course, customs are separate........... -.-" Last time I bought a MAHA-C801D charger with two packs of Imedions (about $100USD) and the ransom at the door was $16.10.

I'm just wondering what you use these batteries for? Are they for your cameras?
I'm not proud of my ignorance on the matter :) :) :D

Is it correct to assume that you're talking about external flash that you put on the camera?

Thanks for the info by the way :)

I got a bunch of Duracell white tops which are also Eneloop rebrands at Shoppers DrugMart when they went on sale for $6.99 last year.

These batteries have a much slower discharge rate than many other rechargables.

I forget the rate of discharge but after a year of charge still holds 75% - I forget the chart.

That being said, you can use them in remotes, flashlights, clocks, camera flashes :)

I love these things, I have close to 40 Eneloop AA's all thanks to the Dell deals lol

I threw out all my other NiMH batteries (Energizer 2500mAh etc)

I believe it was 90% for half a year and 85% for a full year

The AA Eneloop was actually on sale too at Canada Computers the previous weekend (16th -18th) for $11.99 I believe, or might have been $10.99. Can't remember exactly and don't have the receipt with me. It was good enough deal that I bought 3 sets myself.
