I hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend. As a new member, I am not sure if this is the right forum for this post but I wanted to check in to get some advice. My partner of 14 years and I are finally tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in City Hall and we have a really small budget but we would like to have a photographer to capture the moment. We both are usually the ones to take photos of other people during these sorts of special occassions, but as you can see, that's not going to be possible in our own wedding! I was wondering if you had any suggestions for inexpensive wedding photographers or even photography students who would be interested in such an opportunity. We will be able to provide a small stipend but it's not going to be comparable to something that a photographer would usually get in a large scale wedding. The photographer also has to be comfortable with (and hopefully have some experience of) photographing a same-sex partner wedding. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!
