Hi all,

I'm trying to put together an album of about 40 pages (front and back) and I'm wondering where people get their albums made. Looking for a hardcover story book type of solution.

I've done some research and came up with a list of album makers:
http://www.irisbook.com/
http://asukabook.com/
http://www.blackriverimaging.com/
http://www.blurb.com/
http://www.mypublisher.com/
http://www.pikto.com/
http://www.photobookcanada.com/

Would like to hear about your experience and recommendations if you've made an album with any of these guys

thanks a bunch!

(I figure, since you're stating Asuka and Iris here are a couple others - these specialize in wedding but I've used them for baptisms as well.

Cheers,
Dave

I'm not a professional by any means, but I've had great experience with mypublisher. They use nice quality paper and they allow full bleed, which was one of the things i wanted. They also have a nice size that's larger than some of the other places.

On the downside, they're a bit more expensive and they only ship to canada with amex. They are also a bit limited in terms of layouts - there are lots of good choices, but you can't really do something completely your own, this didn't particularly matter for me since all my pages were page-sized photos. If you decide to use them, i suggest signing up and waiting a week or so, they'll usually send you some kind of special offer like 40-50% off or buy 1 get 1.

If you happen to be down by the harbourfront in the evening sometime over the next few days (tall ships, etc), i can show one of my books.
