Hello,

Where would be the best place to go to get 7 B&W imaged printed up, at a decent size? The dimensions are 4x6 but I'd want them pretty big, maybe 12x18 or bigger.

I need it to be good quality but not too expensive. I'm totally unfamiliar with with where to go in Canada (as in stores) for a (good) service like this.

Please help, clever people!

Thanks,

Russell

are you looking to have 4x6 prints enlarged? or is it a digital file? or film negative? are you looking for B&W darkroom print or a digital/inkjet print?

Hello, I was a bit unclear. They are digital files that are cropped to 4x6 but I want them to a larger scale.

I just need good quality but cost-effective printing. I'd go to jessops back home but not sure where to go here. I Will look into the suggestions given so far.

cheers

if you can do self-serve - try elevatordigital.ca's press and go service (FTP upload) - torontoimageworks.com also offers a press and go

make sure you're in the right colour space and have a calibrated monitor for best results with press and go

Hey Russell,

Where abouts are you in the City?

I would normally go to Toronto Image Works or Pitko- but there may be a good place nearer you...

Cheers,

-Jason

Hello,

I am at Dufferin/Dupont. I am going to visit Gerardo tomorrow (if I can make it) to try his place - sounds very helpful!
