So I was doing a shoot for this couple yesterday around Cherry St., everything went really well, got some great images.

Anyway, got home and realized I was missing a bag with 3 lenses, a Sigma 24-70mm, Nikon 50mm f1.4 and a Sigma 10-20mm

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!

I went back to the area and nothing.

So a one in a million chance but I'm reaching out to the photog community if anything turns up

thnx a lot, Joe

Damn that must have been one hell of a shoot if you forgot a bag with those!

thnx and no, thats what sucks about it, just bought the bag and didnt get a chance, usually put my name on everything, the lens only had my first name

big big lesson to me and to everyone, have your full name and phone number on everything just in case an honest person comes across it

Highly unlikely that someone from Cherry St will return it, most likely to go on Craigslist soon unfortunately for you, but I hope someone good finds it

The chances of getting your gear back are very slim. Sorry to hear.

As Chopper said, did you have your contact number in the bag or with the lenses?

What I have done in case my equipment gets lost or stolen is write down the serial numbers of everything, that way if you find them on Ebay or craigslist, you can ask for the serials and you would know if they are yours.

Hope you recover them though.

Did you check out the local police station? If I found some expensive items I would probably drop it off at the nearest police station if I didn't find any ID with the items.

A few years ago I found a wallet. I called up the guy and dropped it off at his house. He tried to give me some money as reward but I declined. I would hope that someone would do the same for me.

It's a long shot, but try the "Off Topic" and "Photography" forums at RedFlagDeals.. lots of Toronto folks in there.

Best of luck in finding your lenses! :(

I misplaced $10 over the weekend.
Then I found $110 euros in a drawer at home.

Sorry to hear about your lenses :(

When I was living in Japan I got drunk with my boss on the shinkansen(bullet train) from Tokyo to Kyoto. Left my brand new Manfrotto on the luggage shelf. When we got back to Tokyo our office assistant called the train company to see if anyone had brought it to lost and found. They had. It was returned to me boxed and gift wrapped. My drunk dumb ass was lucky.

I hope you have as much luck as I did Joey.

Wow, sorry to hear what happened. Hard lesson but we are only human and everyone at some point kicks themselves about something! Do hope that something turns up.
