LOL I meant focusing with such a shallow depth of field, you focused on the girl and went in and hugged her, right? alone it's hard to do, I've tried with 2.8 lens, couldn't nail it unless there was something there to focus on :lol:

yeh, it was pre-focused. All I had to do was trigger the shutter with the pocket wizards (not shown).

Ever thought of putting an object there at the same level as where your face would be?


That requires a second tripod or same height object, it never seems to be at hand when you need it

Some wonderful shots here but this one truly is remarkable to me. And you're right - She really IS beautiful. I'd love to see it in B&W.

Wonderful shot. Her expression/mood is ambiguous. I'd like it more if I didn't know she was in a jeepney. Knowing she is in a jeepney leads me to assume she's just bored.
