haha... thanks :D I just start photography like 4 months ago, so I might not be as technical/skilled as you guys. Anyway, what I usually do is ramp up the saturation to give it a bit more eye-catching colors. So I'm happy that you think it's close to the actual colors as I have no idea whether it is :P

Here's another one of my other pictures. I have other pictures posted on my facebook but it's not as highly processed as this ones are.

Cool! I just messaged you on FB.

Very cool pics Bart! Did you blue gel the first one? Thx.

Thanks Sabesh! Yeah, blue gel sb-800 camera right (-1EV) and bare sb-900 camera left (-3EV) for a bit of fill. I went back after squash to try to take some car photo's in that area but I didn't get anything I really liked. I need more speedlights.. and maybe a few pocket wizards :)

Thanks! I'll look into those. I haven't really looked into cheaper alternatives yet. I'm really started to get spoiled with TTL though.

So I was looking at these

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YN-04-II-Wireless-Flash-Trigger-3-Receivers-w-PC-Port_W0QQitemZ320462487133QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCamera_Flash_Accessories?hash=item4a9d0d7e5d

The questions I have is:

How does the transmitter work? (Cause my D90 doesn't have a PC Port)

How reliable is it without line of sight? Because If I have to have line of sight, then I might as well keep using Nikon CLS, at least that does TTL.

Transmitter goes on your camera's hotshoe.

I have the older version and it is very reliable with/without line of sight.
But I would recommend against the one you linked because it uses those nasty, expensive, hard to find cr2 batteries and it runs at 433hz instead of 2.4ghz.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/RF602-RF-602-for-Nik ... 520wt_1165

These are the ones I use but Canon version.

Those are the ones I ordered. I can let you know in a couple of days. Cheers.

Sure Sabesh, sorry I put a decade of years on your face  Now you look like an average travel shot from a photographer who came from Exotic country, minus the graffiti of course

Bart I also have 2 receivers and 1 transmitter YN-602

I think yes, since I didn't have anything artificial with me, maybe BaRTiMuS used his flashes at the time I pressed the button, but I doubt it

I think I'll order the YN-602's the fact that they use 2.4ghz is a big plus. Because thats a frequency I can relate to (802.11 and home phones). Thanks for your tips guys!

Great photo Dimitri! If my flashes had anything to do with it i'll take the credit lol, but I strongly doubt it. When that car was coming through I was busy swallowing condoms full of cocaine ( I hope that joke isnt too harsh for you guys lol im pretty sarcastic).

I was thinking of making another visit in May. Or, you could hook up with "SuzieSue", who wants to go as well. Cheers.

Heres a few shots of the alley around Keele station that we were talking about during our walk:

http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=all&q=bloor+st+keele+alley&m=text

It's the first alley north and parallel to Bloor walking east from Keele station. I don't think it's as long as the queen street alley but its worth checking out.

Keele is the station on the east side of High Park. Going to Keele, checking out the graffiti, then walking to the park and taking photos of the cherry blossoms etc this Sunday would probably be a good idea. Let me know if you guys are interested I'll set up an ad-hoc.

It's a very short alley you might consider combining it with Highpark Cherry Blossoms.

I wonder how my favourite Zooks girl is doing.

Alright, cherry blossoms are supposed to bloom on Sunday, weather is supposed to be good on Sunday. I set it up for Sunday at 4pm, that should give us enough time to go through the alley, go to the park, and be there for sunset.

If there is more interest in doing it on Saturday, I can move it if need be. Just leave a comment on in the thread.

You are always welcomed to join me on Saturday although I'm not sure yet whether I want to go early in the morning(~8 am) to avoid the crowd or later(~4pm) for better light conditions
