I'm looking for something like this. Anybody knows where I can get that?

Or anyone have links to DIY weather covers for DSLRs?

Thanks.

The image is of a ThinkTank Hydrophobia 70-200 cover. You can order it from The Camera Store in Alberta.

Assuming you are looking for a cover for that type of lens and body set up the following are also options.

You may wish to look at the Kata Elements covers which you can find at Vistek and DVShop here in Toronto. The E-702 will fit lens and body while the E-705 will fit the lens, body and a flash. Kata covers are also available at Henry's.

Another option although not as convenient for shooting in the weather but it offers protection is a product called Storm Jacket. You cannot fit a flash on the camera with a Storm Jacket. Or for a quick throw away option you could look at the OpTech covers (available at Henry's and other stores in the GTA).

All of the rain covers above can be found a the NatureScapes store here for easy comparison (and purchase with our strong loony).

I found that the Kata E702 was a bit bulky but definitely does the job. I tend to pack light so it's not always in the bag. Those Optech rain sleeves I've never tried yet but I hear it takes up very little space, they do look a bit interesting though :)

cool! thanks guys! i found one on ebay, seems like a compromise between the kata and those rain sleeves: here
we'll see how it goes.

i don't go to amazon jungle or ecuador waterfalls enough to justify paying $150 for a high end storm jacket :D
