So Through my work *Blacks* We have a few meetings a year with big camera companies .. They explain new products and there product lines and new info aswell as they allow questions and answers so I figured I would ask on here if theres any specific questions they'd liek me to ask the reps from Nikon?? I already have one abut when they plan on updateing the d700 anything else??

Re Lenses.

Any release dates on (or news on) a new 35mm f1.4 G and 85mm f1.4 G?

Ask if the new D700s or D800 will be coming out by this X-mas?

Also ask if they are working on a 3D camera to go with the new 3D TV's that are hitting the market.

There is a rumor about a 100-500mm lens which will replace the old 80-400. Is it true, will we see anything in a long telephoto compact zoom lens in the near future?

no new d700 sized body this year. would not be surprised to see new 35 and 85 1.4G lenses next year as well.

So I just got back from the meeting Nikon, Sony, And Motorola showed up.. Not a lot of info on the higher end gear .. They did have the new 16-35 f4 there .. I asked about a 700 upgrade but there pretty tight lipped he said he doesnt see one coming until after fall? 35mm 1.4 not as far as he knows

weird Sony showed up...they were just at the Blacks' thingy at Paletta Mansion in Burly whereas Nikon etc weren't
