Details:

What: Medium Format Shoot
When: Sunday March 14th 2010
Time: 11AM
Where: 651 Dufferin Street West - Workman Arts
Bring: Medium Format Camera, rolls of film - whatever your flavor.

We did this last year - Med organized it, and I've been wanting to do it again, and being that I don't like crowds - I thought I'd avoid the outing for the St. Patrick's day parade, and head out into the neighborhood here on Dundas West. You are welcome to shoot as many rolls as you want, but the rules of the outing are mediun format only. No digital, no large format, no 35mm - only 120/220 film. You can shoot any flavor of film whether it be black & white, colour slide, or print. I think I am going to shoot some Ektar 100. The only thing which might deter us is rain? At the moment, it's looking partly cloudy with a 30% chance of rain for Sunday. So bring your umbrella just in case.

As for type of camera - anything counts whether it be a Holga or something fancier - but we are shooting film - NO DIGITAL!

We'll organize a followup session afterwards, to see what people shot. And how things turned out for them. Your welcome to process your stuff any way and anyhow - I am not picky. I am now using Toronto Image Works since Downtown camera raised their processing rates for 120mm. Plus TIW will actually push or pull exposure if you want them to. DC refused to do it for me.

We'll find somewhere to eat after shooting for a couple of hours I would assume. I'll be shooting with my latest - Mamiya AFD.

CANCELLED

I wonder if I can join in the pm. I go to the church in am.
I do not use some of my camera for 2-3 years and not sure I still remember how to use them and definitely would like to pick them up again.
What kinds of subject we are going to shoot at WorkArt.
Sorry, I am new to the city.

its only a meeting place.... we can head downtown, or wherever we want. That was my thought. If you guys want, I can change it until the afternoon, and we can meet anywhere we want - could be downtown by Yonge/Queen. I'm open to suggestions.

I think I'd like to take Rolleiflex 75/3.5F or Bessa II colorskopar with me for snapshot in the street. I develop my own Tri-X with rodinal.

Hi Guys,

if its peeing down rain this Sunday, I might be cancelling this. So at the moment, its very up in the air as to whether or not I'll be proceeding with this outing. Maybe we can look into an alternative date. At the moment, that won't be until at least the end of the month for me.
