I bet you already have the right housing in your camera bag... all that's left is taking out all the insides and sealing the bottom end

How do you explain missing the shot because you tried to screw your coffee mug onto your camera?

Pretty cool though.

Or you accidentally put your REAL 70-200 in the dishwasher instead of the mug! lol

Just don't leave it sitting out in the open in your car...it's a break-in waiting to happen.

It would be funny if you put it into your wedding bag by mistake instead of the lens  quite a surprise

I'm sure there are lots of photographers that would buy one of those mugs for the novelty of it, heck it would make a cool gift too IMHO. Why not sell 'em in their online store along with their baseball caps, shirts etc.

Thanks for asking about the group buy.

That's AWESOME! Thanks for the tip.
But at USD$25+$16shipping, it's a bit much for me.

edit: here's the direct ebay link that I found through klam's link:

I would pony up for it if it was the white 70-200. The 24-105 just doesn't look as slick.

That is rather pricey indeed. Although I like the quality of the 24-105 mug, as it looks pretty good to the original. I think we should all just wait on it. The sellers are only getting this price because of how viral the 70-200mm tumbler went. One seller on ebay is selling for a $60us.

The 70-200 version will be available for retail sale in the coming weeks.

The novelty will be gone by May.

Lol. I'm down for a group buy for these things.

If I knew Simon's Camera was selling these, I'd have held off my S90 order from them and save on shipping. Oh wells.
