Too bad it only has the cove wall, i need a black seamless spot for next week.

I am waiting for this rule to change. People've got to eat...there's only so much you can invest of your own money before realizing it's not the best way to go.

it's nice to come sit here and not be bombarded by self-promotion

perhaps if one spent a little of "their own money" on a marketing class? there's a ton of ways to make money in this business, it's finding your niche and knowing how to market yourself that makes or breaks you

and i'm sure the owner of the forum likes to eat too...rather than having to fork over the extra spendies for the extra bandwidth that'd be sucked up by spammers

I would rather purchase services/goods from real people on this board as opposed to some business that doesn't kick back to the community any day.

That said, you don't want this place to become a spam board where all members with less than 5 posts put up their goods/services. There is value in supporting those who contribute here though. It's hard to moderate a board when the rules aren't black and white, perhaps a limit on the number of posts required to post in a special section of the board.

Unless you're thinking of selling equipment, I think most people here already know what you do and how great you are at doing it!!

I didn't want to start a new thread but anyone aware of any studios that I can wheel a motorcycle into so I can shoot on seamless paper?

Lorne Chapman has a drive-in studio. Not sure on the rates but they are at 2600 John St. in Markham. 905-474-1344.
