Ryan is giving a lecture at Arta Gallery in the Distillery District next Wednesday, March 6th at 7PM. He's photographed extensively in Chinese Turkestan.

I hope there are also going to be hanging his B&W work at Arta. Last year's lecture and show was to put it mildly fantastic!

Yes, they will be hanging some of his prints - though they will only be hung for a few days. I think the next show at Arta goes up on the 11th.

I think you meant March 3rd. Thanks for pointing this out. Ryan's work in China is fantastic. I've been following his documentary work there over the last few years.

Very interesting to hear his approach to "street" life photography and the B&W prints as wonderful as last year.
