There is no drag and drop option on a mac. I found this out when I tried to edit stuff from my camcorder. You have to capture it in real time on your mac using ivideo, I think.

Don't know if there is a program for the mac to let you drag and drop like on a pc. I do all my video stuff on a pc.

Wait there is Final Cut for Macs but its pricey-

can't you just drag and drop the file into a folder from the card?

I just did one from my D90. Create a new project and choose then import movie, navigate to the memory card, pick the folder, "DCIM", then "100NCD..." folder, the movie is inside that folder.

Don't see why this can't be done.

Correct.

Video support for Mac is at a minium, which is likely why you can't drag and drop videos. When I called JVC regarding this, they told me that Mac users are such a small group, it's not worth the extra $$$ to support it.

Also to transfer the video to a Mac you'll need a firewire cable. Don't think you can transfer it via USB. At least I couldn't.

Don't know if support has changed as this was about 3yrs ago.

Good luck.

I would think you could import video's with Nikon's software too.
