As everyone knows I ask a ton of questions on here and always get great responses so thank you so much! I have my interview at humber tomorrow and I need to fill a few spots to make it 20 photos .. What I'm asking is some help in choosing those few .. I added all my favourites or what I would deem my strong photos but to fill the gap to make twenty I need 6 more heres what I have so far (sorry for the huge post)

I would add Darkness Falls Image for sure.

I would probably drop Image unless you clean up the wrinkled floor. Btw, I see only 14 photos, not 15 that you have already defined for your port.

These are really nice pictures. If they don't accept you, they're probably jealous 'cause they aren't as good

My 2 cents, I would suggest adding varieties to the portfolio. Adding, something like the AE-1 and motorcycle shots from your Flickr to the presentation.

Good luck to your interview.

Agreed - a student portfolio should demonstrate as wide a range as possible - mastery of a few types of images (long exposure landscape or portraiture) isn't enough. The faculty/admissions committee are probably looking for creativity and 'vision' rather than technical prowess. If you're not sure what the admissions committee is looking for then re-read the application materials - it is usually spelled out in black and white.

Good luck.

My suggestion (and perhaps you've already done this) is to be prepared to discuss what you like about each print and to talk in terms of subject, mood, elements of composition (eg. line, shape, texture, etc.), etc.

I wouldn't use the walking tall and the last waterfall as they do not add any variety. Good luck you should do fine.

So I just got back .. Well I made a quick stop by Vistek on the way home and picked myself up a Lee Filter !!$$$ now I am broke lol Anyways the interview wasn't very formal.. I went in he asked where I came from where I'd like to be in the future photography wise and told me about the course .. He told me its mainly based on the business side of photography.. basically how to make money doing it from commercial to weddings etc .. He said he liked my stuff and "off the record I don't see any problem with you getting in your stuff is good" now if he says that to everyone I don't know lol! but hey only time will tell .. Thanks everyone for the kind wishes and support and I'll be sure to keep you updated!

This is where hobby meets career and 'fun' becomes 'work'. If you enjoy the work then every day is fun!

Congrats on the positive feedback. I didn't think you'd have a problem getting in, all your shots are pretty decent and it's obvious you have the motivation.

Good luck!

Sounds like they want real people with real passion and motivation in the program. Better for the program when all your classmates are just like you, eager beavers.

Solid portfolio!
