thanks for the opportunity to take photos with all of you. I hope some day to be able to create like some of what I have already seen done. It was a good opportunity with a warm space to be in!!! Happy New Year All.

I enjoy my first outing with the TPMG group. The photos that have been shared are quite good. I have shared a few photos on the TPMG Flickr group.

I didn't decide to go on this outing until quite late--didn't get there unti noon. Had a good time nevertheless, and had a chance to chat with some members of the group.

Oh, and took some photos, too. I have a Canon 5D setup, including a 100mm f/2.8 macro, but took my new Panasonic GF1 instead (Panasonic 20mm f/1.7, a Hoya +3 close-up lens that I bought decades ago, and Panasonic 45-200). I'm generally not a great tripod fan, but I think using a tripod is important for this type of shooting, so I used one for most of the shots. I am a lost soul in terms of posting the photos on Flickr from the Allan Gardens event. Jeff showed me to join TPMG on Flickr- done. Then to tag them with TPMG- done. But..... the are not showing up- any thoughts? I have a few I like and want some feedback on- can you help??? Thanks for reading. Lori
