Not always.... as you'll remember at the Spadina House we ended up having to cough up the money for the people that didn't come, because we were expected to pay for the minimum 10 people. That was not cool.


Agreed it's not cool when people sign up and then don't come to a limited event for more reason then just cost.

Thanks David for organizing. Had a great time! The weather was cooperative, and I didn't freeze my fingers off :o. Got a chance to play with a rental TS-E 17mm and the pics turned out ooooo-kay. But one thing's for sure.. I wish I brought my tripod. Till next time!

I need some serious color correcting to do before I can put something up. Terrible color(magenta) casts on most of the outdoor shots :evil:

Thanks to David for organizing. It was a rare free Sunday for me.

And thanks to Collete for covering admission. I had so much fun shooting, I totally forgot :O. I still owe you!

The last time I brought two bodies, I could compare digital with film, so let's try that again:

Nikon D80 at 12mm - I had already cranked down the highlights, but notice the blown out windows.

Nikon F80 at 105mm - Unretouched. The metering may be accounting for more of the outside light, but you can still make out plenty of detail inside.
