Meeting Place Change

Sir Cisimir Gzoski Park : south of Lakeshore Blvrd at Windemere Ave.

The Humber Bay Park Bridge is an interesting focal point of the park.
The bridge is a suspension type pedestrian walkway crossing the Humber River. So lets meet up, shoot the bridge and anything else that gets in our way.

That's Ok. We should be easy to find. We will be near the
"Big White Bridge" :)

I might come out to the bridge too, since it's a minute walk away from my place

In case you're interested in a little walk around the park itself (it's quite small), you can find quite a bit of interesting stuff

Tim,
I'm a bit confused. Are we meeting at the lot marked "B" in the map. Lot "A" on Humber Bay Park Rd East seems to be closer to the bridge.

Hi Eddie

I was planning to park at the "B" lot a walk across the small
bridge then along the lake to the big bridge, but I am thinking
if we stay till sunset that would be a long dark walk back
to the lot :(
So lets meet at Sir Casimir Gzowski Park lot just east
of the bridge it self.

Sir Cisimir Gzoski Park : south of Lakeshore Blvrd at Windemere Ave.
Meet at the West end of the parking lot near the bridge.

Tim

The walk is well lit up at night. You'll also get a wonderful cityscape, which you don't get from the Eastern side

For TTC
http://www3.ttc.ca/Routes/501/Westbound.jsp

Take 501 Queen all the way to Humber loop, then walk through a tunnel to the other side, turn left and walk until the two huge brown towers, walk towards the lake, the bridge will be on your left. You can also get off at Windermere and walk towards the lake, this will get you right to the parking lot East of the bridge.

The bridge itself is just a small piece of what you guys can shoot here, I don't know why organizers always concentrate only on the bridge  there is a lot more

Lol. Got there at 2. Didn't see anyone there, so I decide to go home. On the way home while driving, I see the rest of you on the other side of the bridge.

Doh!

I can only console myself with the fact that it was very cold. =/

You could have caught us we stayed on the bridge for a while.
It was a nice walk. A little cool in the wind but nice if dressed properly :)
Thanks to those that showed up and also we had a nice dinner at Kelseys
afterward.

Tim

I like how the light is catching the wires on the bridge as well as the brush that is in the foreground. I don't like how the building is in the center...
