I was curious if anyone signs prints or puts something on the back of them when you sell them to someone? Is this normally done or not?

If so, what do you use?

I never sign a print directly but I always include a separate artist info slip and if I mat the photos I sign the mat board with an archival pen/marker. This ensures the longevity of my prints plus keeps in good taste with buyers wants.

I generally place my business card on the back of the frame.

I've signed on the back of the print in pencil.

Epic Edits put together a really good Fine Art Print Guide. You can check out the signing section to see what they say.
