I don't really get this:

I mean, it's a clever idea (wish I'd thought of it); and if I was in the neighbourhood of 401 Richmond I'd probably drop in and have a look.

But if he downloaded the images from Google Earth... what credit does the artist really deserve?

well they're doing that recontextualisation thing - suggesting the images could be used by terrorists to plan an attack. The whole exhibit (there is a video component based on google earth as well) examines the ease by which commoners can access seemingly important strategic data in these information-crazy times.

The artists mounting the exhibit specialize in photography and mixed media - the 'art' here is represented by their choices and their media - while the content itself is appropriated the manipulations and context of that content are the artists'.

I'm going to do all of my photography from now on in Street View.
