Making the trip to Pinery provincial park (Grand Bend). Probably the last fall road trip of the season and the weather will be really nice. I have room for 2 more photographers so if you are interested please PM me. Expenses will be shared.

I'd go, but I only have my macro lens on me right now, waiting for wide angle to come. I can't go without wide

Metrix, why go there now? Is it not better go to in the Summer? I'd like to know as this park looks interesting but not knowing anything about it, I'd plan to hit it in July.

Summer it is crowded with people, right now it is wonderfully wild and the sunsets are better this time of year.

what time are you leaving Toronto?
where is the meeting place?
when are you going back to Toronto?
can you really see the sun setting at the beach? (most of the beaches/location that I've seen, something is blocking the sun as it sets.

1-Sometime in the morning after 9
2- South of 401 and within a KM of Yonge Street
3-After Sunset
4-Not if the clouds block the sun (check out the set of photos I supplied)

It's not a good idea to go on a road trip with a fixed set of expectations better to wait and see what turns up.

I would have been interested if this had been on Saturday (today). I have not been to the Pinery for years. I just can't make Sunday work.

Beautiful day the only downside was a plague of biblical proportions consisting of demon Ladybugs (yes they do bite)
