Hi guys,

Just saw this at Blackphoto and it is only 299.99 very tempting..

Anybody has one? do like this? I have D300 and do you think I will satisfy with the quality?

Thanks for the comment.

Cheers,

James

As long as you keep the iso low, say 400 and under, you'll like the quality. Played with one for a bit at a friends house. Impressive IQ is good light. Like all P&S, things go downhill fast as the iso climbs.

Hi Guys, I have one.... its a nice camera, and I agree. The lower the ISO - the better. I love using mine for the geotagging option. Its pretty much all I've done with it. Plus, the movie mode has a cool time lapse feature, but its not HD.

As you probably know, when the P6000 came out reviews generally ranked it behind its chief rivals, the Canon G10 and the Panasonic LX3. BUT, that was when it was priced about the same as the G10 and the LX3. At $299 it's a different story. Compared to what else is available at that price, this is a great buy. Interestingly enough, this is one of the few times that you can do better buying a camera in Canada than in the US: the price at bhphoto is US$499!
