Hummmm, a wish list eh? Actually my wish list would be a 15mm fisheye, a 24mm T/S lens and a 300mm f2.8IS. I'm thinking of upgrading to the 70-200f2.8 IS version so maybe that counts as well? Not too much. :P

The 15mm fisheye will most likely be the Sigma version over the Canon version but everything else is Canon branded. I've got the older 70-200mmf2.8 NON-IS version which I might put up for sale early next year before the wedding season starts. :P

What's on your wish list? :D

My wishlist?

For Canon to issue a firmware update that turns my inbuilt flash into a wireless ETTL master. I dunno the specifics, but that should be doable, right?

As for gear acquisitions, I guess the list is potentially endless; I think I still have not shot to the limit of my equipment yet, so I'm not too crazy about new gear. You know, like what they say, buy a prime lens, and shoot with it for a year, so as to really get to know photography? I might just do something monastic like that...

Gotta stop feeding the consumerist monster.

Funny you should mention that. About 6-7yrs ago a company called Silicon Film was in the process of creating a 35mm film cartridge that would convert 35mm film cameras into digital cameras. I guess lack of funding etc killed it before it came into production.

Hey:

When you say wish list do you mean only what exists right now, or what we would like to see our manufactures create or update for us?

gear aside, I think we'd all agree that we could use more time and perhaps a complimentary, open 30 day airline ticket...

curious what others consider their top 3 place(s) they'd like to photograph...

I wish.....
....My 50mm f1.4 minolta would clean itself internally...

...my $5 Carl Zeiss Jena would fix itself and unseize....

...my E-510 has the EP1 Sensor implanted into it....

...an Olympus 14-35mm f2 would arrive at my door mysteriously...along with a 50-200mm f2.8-4 SWD...

1. Hong Kong (with millions of people in a tiny tiny area..)
2. Miami (inspiration: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fodder/ )
3. Morocco (sounds interesting)

I'm going to stick with a realistic list.

Churchill MB in late Oct/early Nov. Largest concentration of Polar bears probably in the world.

Bosque Del Apache, New Mexico - late fall.

Alaska.

quite happy with the gear I have.

I shoot people, not places, so my top3 wish list would be:
David Lynch
Radiohead
The entire ensemble here: http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/features/2007/02/hollywoodcovers_slideshow200702#slide=10
