Yeah, definitely agreed. I also think it's illegal. I would feel extremely violated were I to discover someone had been photographing me in my own personal space without my consent.

They probably get sued on a daily basis and just settle.

I don't know about Canada, but my understanding is that the paparazzi in the US are allowed to photograph inside of private property so long as they are standing on public property at the time.
That means you are not protected by the law from being photographed in your house.

That is why Google can drive vehicles around with cities with a video camera that points to the insides of people's houses (Google street view)

The relevant section of the criminal code reads:

Criminal Code

PART V: SEXUAL OFFENCES, PUBLIC MORALS AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Sexual Offences

Voyeurism

162. (1) Every one commits an offence who, surreptitiously, observes

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/axio/3700403786/" title="Pricelessly caught by &#26494;&#26519;&#65324;, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3655/3700403786_3971afac76_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="Pricelessly caught"></a>

I don't know what kind of privacy the couple expected though...

No you didn't --- as they were in a public place - how could they be in "circumstances that give rise to a reasonable expectation of privacy"

So I don't believe that you did anything illegal. If anything - they are the one's who did for committing an indecent act in public.

I don't think so - they gave up / had no expectation of privacy
And if cops had been around, THEY would have been arrested, not you

Why do you think it should be deleted? Creepy or not, or invading privacy, the images ( the 2 showing poeple indoors ) don't show poeple in compromising positions. I am not saying that I am a big fan of it, but some of the best photographers on the planet do it as well.

Voyeurism is a criminal activity by definition - regardless whether the above pictures meet the requirement or not, encouraging or allowing criminal activity on a board like this is not a good idea.

To say that this thread is criminal activity, or even encouragment of such is really a stretch ;-)
