Canon Social and swap meet:

What: Canon Social and swap meet
When: Thursday. September 16, 2010
Time: 7PM

The Rose & Crown (back lounge area)

2335 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M4P 2C8 (just north of Eglinton Avenue)
Separate bills are not a problem. (Thanks to Jamesy for suggesting the venue and booking)

Bring: yourself, a good attitude, Canon gear if you would like to sell or otherwise, money if looking to buy stuff

It's been a while since we've had a Canon Social so let's get together. You don't have to be a Canon user to attend :) Also, this will be an informal swap meet for those wanting to sell and buy.

Note the date changed to the 16th!!

Me neither, I'll bring along my collection of Canon video gear.... the only actual Canon still camera I have is a wee little APS camera.

Oh, if anyone has an S95 bring it along ... I'd love to take a look at it. :)
Better yet, if someone has an LX5 to compare it to I'll be your best friend. (at least for the night :))

Thanks, but I'm not allowed to park in the lots for free (motorcycle), there should be enough street parking around.

How times have changed so few canon shooters. Time for a Nikon/Canon shootout One subject each person one camera one lens and the winner gets the other person's camera. Anyone want to make a reality TV pilot? Of course it will be made in HD with a canon DSLR 8)

Perhaps we can get you a table in the front of the pub 'cause with the FOV on the 500mm you will need the full length of the place to get a headshot of one of us in the back :wink:

Well since its across from the Yonge-Eglinton Centre if you need anything at Metro >$15.00 , the receipt can be used for ticket validating, which means free as long as you park there after 6pm.
