Granted, the can isn't the focus of the image.

but there still is a can there good shot~~~

I am to pay attention to some garbage can this weekend. Hopefully I can find some inspiring shots like yours. I think we all agree that the new Toronto huge garbage bins are not quite photogenic as some older ones

I thought the topic I posted was mundane.
At one time, I posted images of a single light pole and that got 11956 viewing and 183 replies with boring images

I have to acknowledge I've never quite gotten the hang of this thread either.

I think it has to do with seeing the garbage itself (typically food waste), especially overflowing from some of these cans.

I suppose the photos are well taken in the sense that when I see them I want to be sick. Yay for emotive delivery I guess...

what now you just don't appreciate the beauty of the garbage cans. imagine if there's no garbage can, oh, what a filthy world you'll in. you'll be stepping into all kinds of papers and garbages and gums and you'll be stuck to the ground and you won't be able to walk anywhere...you'll be stepping into all kinds of dog poop...yuck...everywhere will be like garbage cans because there's no garbage cans around and they are not overflowing

hey hotwire and everyone else, starting now, if you're the first to go out and shoot an overflowing garbage can and post it in my beautiful garbage group, you can have a pack of my expired but well kept in the freezer all along kodak 160nc (5 rolls) for free, err, maybe 3 rolls...no...1 roll...ok...fine...one pack...



and if no one takes it then it's all mine...yay~~~

I don't shoot 120 film though .

i have some 35mm film, not expired too

i have to say it's a lousy one. i meant to kneel down and get the whole can along with all those feet going by but it was the end of the night and my poor poor feet were kinda numbed and so i got lazy and just took it
