I am in a rut. I want to go out and make some photographs. However, I am Toronto trapped (don't drive) and I can't think of where I want to go to shoot. Any ideas from anyone? Please suggest something, I need to do something creative. Ilive in StLawrence Market

It depends on what you like to shoot. For nature related you could head over to centre island (also good for cityscape and shooting with light at night). There is also Leslie Spit - great spot for birds.

Nathan Phillips Square. Ripe for photographers who love working lines/shapes/negative spaces etc.. Good place in bright sun or dull overcast. If bored, short walk to Aden, Downtown Camera and Henrys...

All the following are in Toronto and accessible by TTC.

Next Sunday (May 25) is the first Pedestrian Sunday of 2014 in Kensington Market for street/photo walk. Quirky people in an eclectic neighbourhood.
For interesting structures try the Guildwood in Scarborough. Macro opportunities in the gardens and Hummingbirds often are on the flowers too. Don't look pro here or you will be asked for a permit.
Do the boardwalk from Ashbridges to the RC Harris Plant (good birding at RC for swallows).
Cherry blossoms are just ending in High Park. Lots of other macro opportunities in the gardens. Petting zoo.
ROM is doing Friday Night Live again shoot a club like atmosphere in the museum.
Grab a bike and prowl the Humber Valley bike trail. Probably lots of wild flowers in the wooded areas.
Victoria Day = Fireworks somewhere.

Organize a TPMG event somewhere so you shoot with others and learn and get inspired?

Good luck.
