Hi,

I've asked a few artsy people I know and none seem to know.

I wanted to fill up some of the bare walls of my apartment with a print. I really enjoy the work of Paul Strand. Particularly Wall Street 1915.

Not sure if it is still under copyright (died 1976 so I assume so) I looked for some official licensed prints.

Is aperture.org legit? Is 500usd mainly for the reproduction process or the royalty (or both).
http://www.aperture.org/wall-street-new-york-1915.html

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Yes, Aperture.org is legit. It is a well known foundation (the Aperture foundation) that also publishes a lot of photographic works (books etc.) and publish Aperture magazine. I don`t know a lot about the prints they offer.
