There are trilliums out now in various Toronto Parks. hundreds of yellow 6 leaf trilliums are in bloom at Deerlick Creek park. I saw 2 little 3 leaf white ones in bloom and a bunch of white ones getting ready for blooming around this weekend. Enjoy the walk if you go out and clear skies.

I don't think those are Yellow Trillium. I believe all members of the trillium family have three petals. These look like Trout Lily.

You are absolutely right.

I wish I knew the flowers better instead of blue and white.

I didn't concentrate on the white ones.

They are out though.

Sure they are. Red, purple and pink as well. Google images also show 6 leaf trilliums.

I think so too. They resemble the same trout lily like my first posts in this thread.

Trillium come in a number of colours. When you see a white trillium it could be one of two species either the traditional White Trillium or the Nodding Trillium depending on the position of the flower. The Red Trillium (a smelly fellow right Chris), and Painted Trillium (white with purple/pink touches near the centre) are fairly common in Ontario in the spring. White Trillium when it begins to change colour as it comes to the end of the bloom are often confused with the Painted Trillium. Beautiful examples of the Red Trillium were found on the recent TPMG trip to the Niagara Glen.

The Yellow Trillium is a rarer flower, being more common in the Smoky Mountains and area in the southern USA. It is considered endangered in Canada I believe. Because of its range in the US I wonder if it would be found in the Caroline sections of south western Ontario. Unlike the unpleasant smell of the Red the Yellow is supposed to have a nice lemon smell.

I guess it would be fair to note that the Trout Lilly and various Trillium are all members of the Lily Family (Liliaceae). It should also be noted that picking a trillium flower and leaves will kill the plant.
