What: Annual TPMG BBQ
When: Thursday August 18th 2011
Time: 6:00pm to 9:30pm
Where: Highland Creek Picnic area -- on Old Kingston Road (same place where we went last year)
Bring: If you have special dietary needs - please bring your own food. TPMG will supply burgers and hot dogs, and condiments. Please also bring your own bevarages of choice. (non alcoholic of course)

The date is set - August 18th at 6pm - or whenever you can arrive! If anyone has an extra portable propane BBQ - please bring it along, I'll have mine.

We will be providing hot dogs and hamburgers from the TPMG funds, but please bring along drinks, or anything extra - like salads or deserts that you may want to share. We are going to meet up in Highland Creek off of OLD Kingston Road - at the exact same location that we did last year. There is only 2 picnic tables, so I would recommend bringing along a camp chair or two. There is lots of room for frisbee and other activities if you are so inclined.

See you all there! I have excluded the maybe option on registration - because I need to know hard numbers for food purchase.

Probably, but I should be able to confirm by mid-July (after I get back from Calgary).

So I am just following up on the BBQ, as I will be coming down from my friends cottage on Thursday afternoon to do the shopping and grab my portable BBQ, etc.

I would like to firm up the numbers by Wedneaday. So if you are intending to come, please make sure to register yes (green), and likewise, if you think youmwon't he coming afterall, to change your status.

I am hoping I can attend - i'll know in a couple of days - but what is the exact location - I did not go last year and am not that familiar with that area - thx

Its difficult to describe, but basically, go out on Kingston road past meadowvale where it connects to "old kingston road", then a quick jaunt down the hill on old kingston road look right when you reach the bottom, and there we are! Its across from the entrance to the UofT Latimer house driveway.

Google has it at about 62 Old Kingston Rd.

If you look at the street view and look SE, you can see the hydrant and picnic tables where we were last year.

Most parked on the side of the road, but if you don't like that, there is a small lot to the NE.

Hi all, even with the slight possibility of rain in the forecast, we are going ahead for tomorrow night. If any of you have rain shelters.... Please feel free to bring them along, just in case.

I will be there, though perhaps a bit late as I'm still in Buffalo at the moment, and will need to drive back to Toronto this afternoon. Hopefully I won't get caught in rush hour traffic that is TOO terrible. See you tonight!

Thanks for organizing this David also for getting all the food and BBQing the burgers and hot dogs. They were good! Nice to see everyone that came out.

So sorry I missed this! The traffic on the QEW was horrible, and there was no way I was going to get there before you guys left. Missed seeing you guys too! Hopefully I'll see you sometime soon!
