Found this guy crawling on the ceiling yesterday. Got him to crawl on some ice to slow him down a bit.

Thank you, nope, I'm a Nikon sucker. I use Tamron 90mm + two set of extension tube (6 rings).

Thanks - but check out Pinksters work above!!

TWO sets of rings stacked together on a macro lens.
I can't imagine how close he has to get the lens to the subject...

...and what if they sneeze on the front element?!?!

I only got one chance to fire my shots in most cases so I have to wait for these insect to get to the position that I want before I took the picture. Most of the time I missed (object moved too fast, the eyes are out of focus etc..) but once awhile I got a good one that I share here.

So keep them coming everyone.

Great macro work, pinkster. Very inspiring!

This is the closest I could get with a Canon EF100 f2.8 IS lens. Which rings / extension tubes do you recommend? Thanks.

Though not technically macro is was shot in the macro mode of the lens. Plus, where else am I gonna post a bug pic? In a non macro bug pic thread?
