So not too long ago, I re-calibrated my monitor with my Huey-PRO. I have an issue now however. The images I see in Photoshop and Lightroom differ from what I see on my web browser or windows image viewer. I understand that there will be a slight difference, however, I find the difference to be quite prominent this time, and it never seemed to be an issue before.

Here's what it looks like:
(left side is LR, and right side is Firefox)

I tried recalibrating a couple times, but that doesn't seem to do the trick at all. I'm going to guess that it's perhaps my monitor. I adjusted it slightly with the new calibrations, and it might have set something off.

The issue is NOT what YOU see, but what you want EVERYONE ELSE to see. You can enable colour management in your browser to see the same colours, BUT not everyone else does this, or even knows about it. It's best to edit your images for internet display for the lowest common denominator.

First issue is in PS/LR you are probably editing in AdobeRGB mode...for the internet you want to post images in sRGB mode. See here for full explanation:

Second, make sure you're not set up to emulate printer colours in your image editing program.

Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines as this.

I checked for PS, and I did have it set to sRGB, and I believe LR is set to some default until you export it and choose a colour profile. So I'm at a loss of what the issue is at the moment.

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm not sure what you meant by your second point.

Thanks again!

actually, there's little you can do to ensure people are seeing exactly what you see. You just have to ensure your images are tagged with a colour profile and that your screen was calibrated.

Since you mention that your screen was calibrated, and two programs do not agree, the most likely cause is that one of them is not colour managed; i.e. does not read the tag and therefore does not translate the colours as you expect them to be.

Firefox does not enable colour management by default, which is why potatoeye and I pointed you in the direction of enabling it.

Thanks. I just changed the gfx.color_management.mode profile to "1" instead of "2". I'm having the same result though however.
